Georgian Salver, 1777

Sold
Salver - Bead Rim - London 1777 by Robert Jones & John Scofield - 13.3cm diameter; 2cm high; 182g - MJ/4963</p>
A lovely Georgian silver salver made by the premier specialist tray makers, Jones & Scofield. This small round tray would originally been used as a waiter tray to hand out single glasses, but these days would be equally adept as a card tray. It stands on three ball and claw feet and has a beaded mount around the rim. The salver is in fine condition with no personalised engravings and a clear set of hallmarks.
