A beautiful silver salver made by a scarcely found lady silversmith. This George II period salver has a fabulous high quality appearance with its pie crust border interspersed with shells. The salver stands on three hoof feet and has an engraved coat-of-arms to the centre. It is in excellent original condition with a deeply struck set of hallmarks to the underside.
The coat-of-arms show a gold shield and red chevron for the Stafford family.
