Britannia Std Rattail Spoon, 1719

Hanoverian rattail table spoons are relatively common, however dessert spoons, such as this example, are much more scarce. This spoon also benefits from Britannia Standard hallmarks with clear marks apart from the maker's mark which is mis-struck and illegible. The spoon is in fine condition with a striking rattail and a naïve set of betrothal initials in the form of a triangle - "E" being the initial letter of the surname - to the reverse terminal.
