Wine Funnel - 2 section with Strainer & Spout - London 1810 by Solomon Hougham - 14.4cm long; 8cm diameter; 113g - HB/9815

Sorry, this item is out of stock.

This is a fine quality Georgian silver wine funnel with removable strainer section and swan-necked spout - the long spout is in original condition and will prevent the wine bruising from dropping in to the decanter - instead it will run down the side of the glass. There is the added bonus of the original ring to hold a muslin cloth (for filtering out the very pieces)which is still in its place within the strainer section. The strainer section has a hook for hanging to the side of a decanter and bears a full set of clear hallmarks - the spout has an appropriate part set to match. This excellent silver wine funnel is in excellent original condition.
