This is a good quality Georgian silver soup ladle in fine condition with clear London hallmarks for Thomas Evans.
The ladle is decorated along the front of the handle with an engraved feather edging and the desirable, shell-form bowl is cleverly fluted. The reverse side of the handle is stamped with an excellent set of bottom-struck hallmarks for the specialist spoonmaker Thomas Evans. This is a superb soup ladle in excellent condition.
