Marrow Scoop - Double-ended - London 1724 by William Petley - 20.6cm long; 44g - YG/4741

Sorry, this item is out of stock.

This is a fine quality George I period silver marrow scoop made by the top spoonmaker William Petley.

This double-ended scoop is nicely engraved to the reverse side of the larger scoop with a double-headed griffin. It has a good set of hallmarks and remains in excellent condition.

William Petley was apprenticed to William Matthew who was another specialist London-based spoonmaker.
