Sugar Sifter Spoon - Fiddle & Thread pattern - London 1859 by Francis Higgins - 15.4cm; 54g - KE/5083

Francis Higgins made some of the best silver spoons and servers of the Victorian period and this silver sugar sifter spoon is a fine example of its type.

Made in the popular fiddle & thread pattern, this sugar sifter spoon has a beautifully pierced bowl with star-effect to the centre and floral wreath around the outside. The spoon has been made from a good gauge of silver, has no personalised engravings and is in excellent condition with a good, antique patina.
