Sugar Sifter Spoon (cased) - London 1885 by William Hunter - 16.5cm long; 62g; Case: 19.5cm x 8cm - YC/2467

This is a top drawer silver sugar sifter with the additional benefit of being contained within its original presentation case.

The spoon has a good hefty weight, is richly decorated along the stem and attractively pierced to the gilt (gold-wash) bowl. The case is impressed inside the cover with the name of the Reading retailers Bracher & Sydenham (proudly announcing their by appointment to the Prince of Wales privilege) has preserved this Victorian spoon in first class condition.
