This is a splendid table centrepiece with the expertly made silver frame holding a central glass bowl and supporting four silver vases. Imagine the display with a profusion of fruit to the middle and elegant flowers around the outside! The glass bowl is original, beautifully engraved and cut and a perfect fit to the ring that holds it. The trumpet shaped vases each sit in their own rings, are independently hallmarked to match and can be removed for easy emptying and cleaning. The whole stands on four scroll work legs in the style of the mid-18th century. Made by Elkingtons, the important silversmithing company, this table centrepiece certainly makes an impact and is in fine condition throughout.
