Salt Spoons (matched pair) - King's Shape Double Threaded. - London 1851 & 59 by George Adams - 11.2cm long; 50g combined weight - FN/3190

This pair of antique silver salt spoons are in a flatware pattern unglamorously known as King's Shape Double Threaded. This pattern is rarely seen and these salt spoons with their crested terminals provide fine examples.

The spoons are hallmarked for London and although made eight years apart by Chawner & Company, they are identical in appearance, bear the same crests and have matching gilt bowl interiors. The condition is excellent with just a few, small black salt spots to the front stems.

A lovely pair of rare salt ladles!
