Sorry, this item is out of stock.

The clover leaf is one of the most sought after wine label forms and this is a wonderful example of the type. Benjamin and James Smith were an important silversmithing partnership of two brothers producing fine quality silver for the Royal Goldsmiths, Rundell, Bridge & Rundell. This cast four leaf clover label is pierced claret to the centre and the central section is free from gilding so that it stands out from the gold background. A good heavy label on a fine quality belcher chain, this is a fabulous piece of Regency silver.
