Marrow Scoop - Chester 1722 by Thomas Maddock - 22cm long; 43g - UC/4461

Sorry, this item is out of stock.

This is an extremely rare George I period silver marrow scoop made in Chester by Thomas Maddock and bearing his "Ma" maker's mark. Taking the usual double-ended form, the larger scoop is engraved with original "KI" initials and the central shank is clearly hallmarked with the Chester Assay office marks. This good-sized scoop is in fine condition throughout.
