This is a fabulous and most unusual small silver bowl made by Charles Boyton.
This circular bowl is ideal for serving sugar, pickles or condiments and has a cut-off rim to give a lovely, quirky appearance. The bowl is hand-made and retains its surface spot hammer marks throughout. Charles Boyton was one of the UK's leading lights in Art Deco silversmithing and in line with his best work bears his facsimile signature to the underside. This bowl remains in excellent condition.
