Devlin Caddy Spoon, 1983

This is a beautiful Stuart Devlin caddy spoon, made as one of a limited edition to commemorate the 25th anniversary of Charles becoming Prince of Wales. This is number 43. The handle is formed as the Prince of Wales' feathers and the junction with the bowl is set with semi-precious stones as flowers and the dates "1958" and "1983" in gilt. The spoon has a nice solid feel and is presented within the original Devlin case and comes with the original advice note. Mint condition.

Charles was created Prince of Wales on July 26th 1958 with his investiture taking place 10 years later.
