This is a fabulous Art Deco Quaich made by one of the UK's leading silversmiths of the movement - Robert Edgar Stone. The Quaich was made to commemorate the silver jubilee of King George & Queen Mary in 1935 as can be seen by the crown depicted in the handles. The body retains a hammered finish - evidence of the quaich being hand-wrought. This is a large example of this popular Quaich as can been seen by the soft drinks can giving scale. It is in excellent original condition.
