Burgundy Label by Scott & Smith

Digby Scott & Benjamin Smith were premier quality silversmithing partnership that produced some of the finest silverware of the period and often for the Royal Goldsmiths, Rundell, Bridge & Rundell. This large silver Burgundy label is attractively shaped and expertly decorated around the border with chased vine and grapes on a scrolling tendril and a Bacchus mask to the top. Clearly hallmarked to the reverse, this is an excellent Georgian wine label that exudes high quality.
