Beaker - London 1979 by Brian Leslie Fuller - 8.7cm high; 7.3cm diameter rim; 275ml; 195g - BG/1351
Brian Fuller is a highly regarded modern silversmith who was apprenticed by Gerald Benney and later went on to become his workshop manager. He set up on his own account in 1975 and by the time that he made this silver beaker was located northwest of London in Amersham, Buckinghamshire.
This good-sized, hand-made silver beaker has a fabulous, stylish appearance and a terrific feeling of quality in the hand that is further enhanced by the gilt interior. The textured foot shows the Benney influence. An excellent piece in fine condition.
