This is a lovely hand-made silver beaker by the contemporary lady silversmith, Amanda Birkett. The tapering cylindrical body retains the original hammer marks from the hand-raising process and it stands on a pierced foot that is beautifully decorated with stylised swallows in flight. Only 12 years-old, this silver beaker remains in excellent condition.
