This is an excellent example of a rare antique silver toddy ladle in Fiddle Pattern made in Banff by George Elder.
This Scottish provincial ladle includes a great example of the rare mother & child mark and also a "B" in script mark. In addition to the scarcity of the marks, this is also a lovely piece of typically Scottish silver that remains in excellent condition with original script initial "O" to the front terminal.
