We are offering a rare opportunity to purchase a Georgian silver tongue scraper.
Perhaps not the most acclaimed of item, but the tongue scraper was nevertheless an important hygiene related tool that was in use during the early 19th century. This silver example was made by the premier smallworker Charles Rawlings and the full set of London hallmarks are spread across both arms. It remains in excellent condition.
