This is a lovely spoon made by one half of the Ramsden & Carr partnership following the break down of their relationship. Alwyn Carr spoons are much more scarce than those by Omar Ramsden during their solo careers.
The spoon features a chased Tudor rose to the front terminal complete with thorny tendrils. This is a fabulous quality handmade spoon with a good weight and clearly marked to the reverse of the bowl with Alwyn Carr's Gothic script "AC" maker's mark. It is in excellent condition.
