A E Jones Silver Cream Jug, 1903
Cream Jug - Pitcher-style with Hand Beaten Finish - Birmingham 1903 by A E Jones - 8.8cm high; 79g - JC/2873
This is a lovely silver cream jug made in the arts and crafts style by Albert Edward Jones.
The pitcher-style jug stands on a pedestal foot with wavy-effect decoration. It has an all over planished or spot-hammered finish and dating from the Edwardian period is an early piece from the AE Jones workshop. The jug is in fine condition, although the AEJ maker's mark is only just legible.
