36-piece Mother-of-Pearl Dessert Service

This is one of the most attractive dessert services that we have encountered. It consists of 18 dessert forks and 18 dessert knives, all with matching mother of pearl handles and silver blades/tines, beautifully presented within its original mahogany plush fitted box. The wooden box is nicely shaped too and has a brass plaque to the centre with a Gothic letter "R". Each pearl handle is shaped to give a lovely feel in the hand. The decorated ferrules to the centres give added class to each piece.

This Victorian dessert service is in fantastic polished condition with no issues and every piece bears appropriate Sheffield hallmarks. A truly great service.
