This is a lovely Art Deco period sterling silver salt pot and spoon made by Georg Jensen in the popular Cactus pattern.
This oval salt cellar has a blue enamelled interior to protect the silver from the corrosive effects of salt. The two side handles display the Cactus pattern motifs that are mirrored on the shank of the salt spoon. In addition to the Georg Jensen workshops marks, both pieces bear London import hallmarks for 1936 (spoon) & 1937 (pot). The condition is excellent throughout.
