Sorry, this item is out of stock.

This is a lovely 18ct gold sovereign case dating from the early years of King George V's reign when the use of gold sovereigns were at their height.

The case takes the typical circular form with spring catch for easy opening and a sprung coin holder holding up to 3 sovereigns (n.b. the one shown in photo is not included in the price). The outside of the case is engraved with a crest featuring two wings and a motto reading "Reason Contents Me". The full set of 18ct gold hallmarks are found to the inside of the cover.

Weighing over 19 grams, a significant portion of the value is in the gold content, making this sovereign case a good investment opportunity. We also have plenty of gold sovereigns currently for sale at competitive prices should they also be of interest.
