Spoon - Trefid - London 1699 by William Scarlett - 20cm long; 47g - TR/6117

Sorry, this item is out of stock.

This is a very good example of a late 17th century trefid spoon with an unworn beaded rattail to the reverse of the bowl. Made during the reign of King William III, this spoon has an excellent set of deeply struck hallmarks and a very clear maker's mark for William Scarlett. There is an original "MB" baptismal engraving to the reverse stem and the spoon is in excellent condition throughout.
