This is a beautiful Victorian, pierced, silver basket made by the partnership of Charles Belk and E. Parkin, later to become the large scale Sheffield manufacturers, Roberts & Belk.
The side of this basket is embossed with swags and pierced to show-off the inner blue glass liner to best effect. Standing on a pedestal foot and carried by a hinged, swing-handle, this basket remains in excellent condition throughout.
