This beautifully pierced and embossed, late Victorian silver mustard pot features a cherub, satyr and doves among the profuse foliage. Benefiting from the retention of its original pierced mustard spoon with gilt bowl, this pot is very typical of the sublime silver made by William Comyn towards the latter years of the 19th century. It is in excellent condition throughout and includes an undamaged blue glass liner.
