Caddy Spoon - Queen Elizabeth II Silver Jubilee Commemorative - London 1977 by Stuart Devlin - 8cm long; 52g - PF/5093

Sorry, this item is out of stock.

A commission was given by The Society of Caddy Spoon Collectors to the UK's leading silversmith of the 1970's, to design and make a caddy spoon that could be given to the Queen in celebration of her Silver Jubilee. The spoon was made in a limited edition of fifty three and was available exclusively to members of the society. Each spoon had the recipients initials engraved upon it. This is number 48 and is in mint condition. It is hefty in weight and has the words "SILVER JUBILEE 1977" below the cast gilt crown.

This spoon is illustrated on the front cover and plate VIII of "Caddy Spoons: An Illustrated Guide" by John Norie and is discussed in the text on page 111.
