Queen Anne Dog-nose Spoon, 1702

Sold
Spoon - Dog-nose pattern - London 1702 by William Petley - 19.8cm long; 68g - WA/5623
This a very fine quality dog nose spoon dating from the start of the Queen Anne period. The spoon has a good, hefty weight and unworn bowl. The front terminal is later engraved with a crested coat-of-arms. The Britannia Standard hallmarks are in very good condition with a clear date letter. A fine example of a dog nose spoon.
