An      extremely rare straight set of six miniature dog nose Queen Anne period      spoons. Each spoon is clearly marked with the Britannia Standard mark of      David Clayton (CL) who was a specialist maker of silver toys. 

The excellent condition and the fact that the set remains      intact is largely testament to the presence of the original case. The case      is somewhat worn and has lost its' interior lining, but for 300+ years it      has done pretty well! This truly is a great find and would be a great      addition to any collection of silver.
