Caddy Spoon - Gilt; Decorated Fiddle Pattern - London 1824 by Thomas Edwards - 10cm long - BH/6259

Sorry, this item is out of stock.

The decorated fiddle pattern caddy spoons from the reign of George IV are amongst the most handsome of all silver caddy spoons and this example is no exception!

Made by Thomas Edwards, this spoon is expertly hand-chased with flowers and scrolls along the front of the handle which then splits in two to follow the rim of the bowl and envelops a central, leafy bouquet. The spoon is gilt all over and the front of the handle is further enhanced with an original engraved crest within the cartouche. A top quality spoon in fine condition.
