Condiment Set (3-piece) - Frogs - London 1972 by Richard Comyn - 5cm high; 4.5cm wide base; 352g combined weight - JG/7308

This is a superb quality, three-piece silver condiment set modelled as frogs.

The cruet set comprises a salt pourer, pepper pot and mustard pot with each piece beautifully modelled and complete with textured skin and froggy eyes. The mustard pot has a hinged head that opens to reveal a gilt interior, whilst the salt cellar has a single and the pepper multiple pouring holes to the head. The latter two can be filled by removing the stopper to the underside.

With a combined weight of almost 12 troy ounces, each piece has a good, chunky feel in the hand and are typical of the high quality one would expect from the maker Richard Comyn; the set was retailed from the London Silver Vaults by Nat Leslie. This set is in excellent condition with London hallmarks throughout.
