Set of 6 Georgian Silver Salt Spoons, c.1760

Sets of six 18th century silver salt spoons are extremely rare and this is an excellent set in the Hanoverian pattern.

Their cast bowls are modelled as shells and the reverse terminals engraved with martlet crests. They are unmarked, but will certainly date from the middle of the 18th century. They have a small amount of black staining to the bowls, but otherwise for Georgian salt spoons are in fine condition.
