Novelty Scuttle Caddy Spoon, 1889

This is a truly elegant late Victorian silver caddy spoon in the form of a scuttle or scoop. This very rare form of tea caddy spoon (we have not previously encountered one) has been beautifully made and had a very tactile feel in the hand. The condition is excellent throughout with a clear set of hallmarks.
