Sorry, this item is out of stock.

This is a beautifully proportioned quaich made from the most important 20th century English silversmithing workshop and bearing the engraved trademark legend "Omar Ramsden Me Fecit" to the underside. In traditional Arts & Crafts style, this quaich retains the original spot hammer planishing marks around the body and has two hollow and ergonomically pleasing handles. It is in excellent condition throughout.

A quaich is an ancient Scottish drinking vessel with two handles traditionally used to drink whisky. They became a popular alternative to the child's mug given at Christenings.
