Elizabeth Morley was one of the best London producers of silver caddy spoons in the early years of the 19th century and this spoon is a particularly attractive example.
It has an axe-shaped handle with engraved feather edge border and a prettily engraved, circular bowl. An appropriate set of London hallmarks for this lady silversmith can be found to the underside. The condition is excellent throughout.
