Very Rare Possum Pin Cushion, 1909

This is an extremely rare and fine example of a possum silver pin cushion. The possum is a small, nocturnal Australian marsupial that inhabits trees. The distinctive prehensile tail is beautifully modelled and the eyes are set with tiny rubies. The possum is in superb original condition and has nicely textured fur. It retains its original pad and has a clear set of hallmarks with design registration mark. An extremely rare piece!
