This is a superb Edwardian silver plate or charger made by the talented arts & crafts silversmith Philip Frederick Alexander.
The charger has been hand-raised and retains its all over planished appearance. Around the border it has a lovely chased oak tree tendril with leaves and acorns. It measures 12" in diameter and is in excellent condition with an oxidised appearance and good, crisp hallmarks that include the PFA maker's mark.
