Marrow Scoop - Double-ended; Fiddle & Thread Pattern - London 1820 by Paul Storr - 23cm long; 52g - ZS/7612
Paul Storr pieces always exude the highest quality and this marrow scoop is no exception. The thread decoration is tastefully done and the engraved crest of a bugle with strap tied up in a bow adds to the overall feeling of high status. This marrow scoop takes the standard double ended form with one narrow and one wide scoop for extracting the tasty morsels from marrowfat bones. It is in excellent condition with a clear set of hallmarks for the greatest English silversmith of the 19th century.
