Goblet - Inverted Bell-shape with Vine & Grapes Band - London 1810 by Paul Storr - 17.1cm high; 11.8cm diameter rim; 600ml (1pint) capacity, 615g - AT/8537
This is a real high quality, heavyweight silver goblet made by the great Paul Storr.
Measuring a good 6.5" high and with an impressive weight of almost 20 troy ounces, this Regency goblet has been made from a very thick gauge of silver and consequently exudes the best of the period. It has a volume in excess of 1 pint making it ideal as a toasting goblet or even for that well-earned beer!
The tendril of vine and grapes weaving its way around the goblet towards the top is exquisitely detailed and remains super crisp. The goblet stands on an attractively decorated round, pedestal foot and is in excellent condition throughout.
