Grape Scissors (cased) - Vine & Grape pattern - London 1810 by Paul Storr - 16.2cm long; 133g - BJ/3880

Sorry, this item is out of stock.

These are a fantastic quality pair of silver-gilt grape shears made by the master of all 19th century silversmiths - Paul Storr. The quality of these Regency period grape scissors puts them a above all others: in addition to their super hefty weight and finely detailed decoration are the two bunches of grapes to the underside that act as feet to raise them from the table for ease of use. The feet are a particularly rare feature, plus the grape scissors are fitted in a late 19th century case that was provided by the prestigious luxury retailers Carrington & Company. These are a truly fabulous pair of Georgian parcel gilt grape scissors and they remain in excellent condition.
