Salt Pots (pair) - Chased Rectangular on Pedestal Foot - London 1827 by William Eley II - 10cm long; 8cm wide; 5.3cm high; 337g - TR/5500

Sorry, this item is out of stock.

These are a fine quality pair of George IV period silver salt pots. These are a good sized pair and retain their original gilt (gold-wash) interiors to protect the silver from the corrosive effects of salt. They are in typical Regency style with lovely chased flower and fuchsia sides and a complex top mount of scrolls and convolvulus shells. Clearly marked under the pedestal foot and in excellent all round condition with scratches from use to the insides.
