These are a wonderful pair of Georgian silver sauce tureens that stand out from other standard tureens of the period. Whereas most pedestal form sauce tureens are completely plain in appearance, these differ in having a fluted design around the middle section. They benefit from having their original covers which are marked to show which tureen they fit and which way around to sit.
These excellent quality sauce tureens are in fine condition and have been made from a good gauge of silver - a very fine pair!
