Omar Ramsden Silver Letter Opener, 1937

This is a superb quality silver letter opener or paper knife made by the premier British silversmith of the 20th century, Omar Ramsden.

Formed as a scimitar, this piece measures an impressive 8" long and has a nice chunky feel in the hand. It just exudes high quality and would be perfect for the job of opening letters and the like.

It is in fine condition with deeply struck London hallmarks. As good as you will get if searching for a high quality paper knife.
