This is a beautiful silver sweet basket or bonbonnierre made by Georg Jensen.
The gently planished, boat-shaped dish stands atop a pedestal foot with trailing bud supports. The handle is also made a flower tendril with buds at either side. Ideal for serving sweets or sugar, this piece is fully stamped to the underside with Georg Jensen workshop marks for the 1933-1944 period, plus the model number 235B. This lovely basket is in excellent condition.
