Omar Ramsden Bowl, 1933

Omar Ramsden made a specialty out of making beautifully designed bowls and this example is as good as any!

This good-sized, deep bowl stands on an attractive pedestal foot and retains the spot hammer marks applied when hand-wrought. The bowl has a heavy weight in the hand and a lovely feeling of high quality. It is in excellent condition with clear hallmarks under the foot.
