Salver - Octofoil with 8 Feet - London 1927 by Omar Ramsden - 20.4cm diameter; 373g - NT/2860

This is a fantastic quality Arts & Crafts silver George V period salver made by Omar Ramsden.

Measuring 8" in diameter, this lovely tray has a circular outline with octofoil inner field. Unusually, this salver has an amazing eight scroll feet that give it an extra oomph of quality! The overall weight of 12 troy ounces feels hefty for a relatively small piece and the all over spot-hammer marks are witness to the tray being hand-wrought with the cherished legend "Omar Ramsden Me Fecit" located to the reverse side adjacent to the hallmarks.

This is a beautiful piece of Omar Ramsden silver in superb condition.
