This fine quality baluster-shaped silver coffee pot has a very good weight, lovely patina and is excellent condition. It benefits from bearing no personalised engravings (no erasures) to the main body and is fitted with a pearwood handle. It was made by the finest Newcastle silversmith of the first half of the 18th century and bears clear hallmarks to the underside, along with the original ownership initials "MT". A fine example of Georgian period coffee pot.
