Miniature Knife & Fork - Green-stained ivory Handles - Birmingham circa 1800 by Samuel Pemberton - 12cm long - DO/2650

Sorry, this item is out of stock.

These are a beautiful miniature knife and fork pairing with green-stained ivory handles and silver blade/tines.

Made in Birmingham during the early 19th century by Samuel Pemberton, this miniature antique knife and fork set would have been used as by a child as a toy, possibly with a doll's house. They have a lovely elegant feel to them and are identical to full-scale examples of the Georgian period. Their small size exempted them from assay and hallmarking, but the "SP" maker's mark to the knife blade is a bonus. They are in fine condition throughout.
